Lance de los Reyes - Builder 33

Lance de los Reyes is an artistic force who hones in on multiple visual languages-  He is an incredibly prolific visual artist who obsessively produces drawings, paintings, sculptures and unique text-based graffiti on NYC billboards, all of which reflect his personal visions of the universe and world around him. Incorporating symbols, both recognizable and self-constructed, with shapes and shifting forms; he conjures a realm that exudes familiarity while at the same time remaining blurred and magical.

Builder 33 is de los Reyes first show with Shrine. The exhibition focuses on a new series of graphite drawings, which will be set against a single large canvas that will anchor the show. Stone-like forms, roughly sketched shapes, shadows and etched markings connect us to de los Reyes's secret  world- a mystical but defined space draws us in and demands our attention.
